EIPROTECH Publishes Innovative Technology Paper in Aerosol Science and Technology
Recently, EIPROTECH published a research paper titled A low-cost in-situ instrument for organic aerosol speciation using thermal desorption in the international aerosol journal Aerosol Science and Technology as the first author affiliation. The paper was published online on January 21, 2026, reporting the company’s latest innovation in online measurement of aerosol organic molecules.
This study focuses on a low-cost, fully automated online instrument for particulate organic molecular analysis. It introduces a novel front-end design based on a “10 cm injection needle + dual septa” soft-connection interface, which enables efficient and stable sample transfer without any modification to the GC system, while also achieving low detection limits. The results show that the system delivers strong transfer efficiency and sensitivity for a range of organic molecules, providing a new technical approach for online molecular-level aerosol composition analysis.
This research was carried out through collaboration among EIPROTECH, Fudan University, Southern University of Science and Technology, and Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center.
